The end of May means that summer is right around the corner. People open their pools and start getting outside more in the sun. For myself, I started outdoor running again last weekend. ♀️
Which brings me to a topic that I get questions about all the time--sunscreen.
More specifically, which sunscreen do I recommend?
Thank goodness, over the last 10 years, companies have moved in a direction of providing a better solution for sunscreen instead of chemical-filled sprays that do damage to the skin as opposed to protecting the skin.
For a facial sunscreen I send people to Zinc it Over, from Seriously Fab. SPF 25.
The face mist is made from the mineral zinc oxide.
The zinc oxide sits on top of your skin rather than soaking in, like chemical sunscreens.
It protects your skin by scattering, absorbing and reflecting the sun's rays. And it is also made from non-nano zinc oxide. This is the safest form of zinc oxide to fully protect your skin from the UVA, UVB and UVC rays.
The sunscreen comes with a fine mist spray and can be sprayed on top of your makeup and reapplied during the day.
The spray comes out clear. So it sets your makeup. It won't make your skin oily or look white, it just gives you an added glow. But it can also be worn without makeup.
'Zinc it Over' is a natural vegan formula, free of gluten, parabens, GMO's, Phthalates, Dimethicone, Alcohol, Perfume/Dyes and Talc.
Phew
It also comes unscented, along with various scents.
Amazon has been out of it for a while. But you can go to their website, Seriously Fab and purchase it.
If you have any questions, let me know. Here's to a healthy happy summer!
Until next time,
Jan
